JUMPING BETWEEN THE STATES / / THE LEAP BETWEEN THE ESTATES
"Wars come and go but Soldiers are eternal"

Virginia, 1862 . Awakening in the middle of a battle is never easy, and less if you do not know which side you are. In a strange twist of fate, Sam ends up in a battle of the Civil War, 91 years before his birth, which contradicts the rules of his theory of time travel. Athrushes therefore manages to escape, not without first testing the troubles of war: wounds inflicted by the enemy weapon, death of a partner, etc, to discover he has jumped on his grandfather, Captain John Beckett of the Union Army. who saved him is a black slave, Isaac, serving the young widow Olivia Barrett Covington, a temperamental woman and supporter of the Confederacy (enemies of the Union, ie Sam's enemies in new role). Very reluctantly agree that Sam is left and only wound care access chaining.

not crybia the environment. Individuals enjoy the beginning, with the battle, fireworks and screams everywhere, death and carrion, as it should be a war. Sam would have been better if he had belonged to the army of Confederacióny not the Union, ie the losers - not in a derogatory manner, but historically losing the battle-... I would have considered less Manichean. Oh, yes, the ancestor of Luther King was great. Not far from the Family History of the visionary, but it was the icing on the cake.

an officer, pero definitely not a gentleman.) This is a reference to a 1982 movie starring Richard Gere, known An Officer and a Gentleman
